Topics focus on data computation and data reporting. Intermediate Excel topics include:

  1. Identifying trends in data sets using Conditional Formatting based on user-defined rules to format cells.
  2. Using built-in sum() and if() Excel functions to process information
  3. Using PivotTables for report creation and charts to visualize data.

Location of workshop: Remote online live

Cost:  $30 to $45 for residents ($35 to $50 for non-residents). There is a senior citizen rate of $25 per course. See brochure for details.

Juan Hinojosa specializes in technology instruction with years of experience working with the most prominent companies on Long Island and Manhattan.  With over 20 years of experience as a top-tier technology instructor to adult learners of all skill levels, Juan is proficient in Excel, Access, VBA, Matlab, Python, and other industry-standard applications.

He holds a degree in Pure Mathematics with a minor in Applied Mathematics and a Master in Technology and Society degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.  His degree also emphasizes Educational Technology and Instructional Design.
